Frequently Asked Questions
Which Neelum Valley tours does The Tourism Club offer?
Two fixed group tours: 3 Days Neelum Valley & Arang Kel (Rs 17,500 per person) and 4 Days Kashmir — Neelum Valley, Arang Kel & Taobat (Rs 24,500 per person). Both depart Lahore with a fixed group of 22, and both are also available as private trips.
What is the difference between the 3-day and 4-day Neelum tours?
The 4-day tour adds Taobat — the last village of the valley — with an extra night, breakfast and dinner (4 breakfasts, 3 dinners vs 3 breakfasts, 2 dinners on the 3-day). Both cover Arang Kel.
How do you reach Arang Kel?
Arang Kel sits above Kel and is reached by local jeep plus a short hike. Jeep charges for these track sections are payable on site and are not included in the package price.
What is included in the Neelum tour price?
Transport from Lahore, hotel accommodation, daily breakfasts and dinners (2 dinners on the 3-day, 3 on the 4-day). Jeep charges for the upper tracks are excluded and paid on site.
Can I book a private Neelum Valley trip instead of the group tour?
Yes — Neelum and Kashmir plans are available in every Private Tours category. Private versions have no fixed price: you tap "Contact for Prices", choose your vehicle, and the trip departs from your desired location, not Lahore.
Is Neelum Valley open in winter?
The main road stays open year-round up to Kel, with short closures after heavy snow. The Kel–Taobat track and the side tracks to Ratti Gali, Shounter and Surgan are summer-season routes, typically open mid-June to mid-October — so Taobat visits are planned in season.
Is Neelum Valley suitable for a honeymoon?
Yes — the 4 Days Kashmir (Neelum Valley, Arang Kel & Taobat) plan is also offered as a Honeymoon private tour, with car options from Corolla GLi to Toyota Prado and dinner on demand.
